Bristol City Women can confirm that Lexi Lloyd-Smith has left the club to take the next steps in her career.

Lloyd-Smith joined City in the summer of 2024 and became a regular feature in the first-team squad.

Over her two seasons with the club, the attacker made over 50 appearances across all competitions.

In City’s 2025/26 campaign, she was voted City's Young Player of the Year, and earned the WSL2 Golden Boot after a final day hat-trick against Sheffield United saw her finish on 11 league goals for the season.

Her impressive performances also earned her a call-up to the England Under-23 squad.

Reflecting on her time in the West Country, Lloyd-Smith said: “I’d like to give a lot of credit to the fans and staff that have supported me and given me an amazing environment to play my football in. I’ve loved it and I am really grateful to everyone that’s helped my progress along the way.”

City boss Charlotte Healy said: "I’d like to thank Lexi for everything she has given to Bristol City. Throughout her time at the club she has represented the badge with professionalism, commitment and a fantastic attitude every single day.

Lexi has made an important contribution both on and off the pitch, and it has been a privilege to see her develop into the player and person she is today. While we're naturally disappointed to see her leave, we are proud to provide young players with opportunity here and we are delighted for Lexi that her performances last season have allowed her to take the next step in her career.
